The Laura Johnson Home Story
The story of the Society for the Mount Isa Memorial Garden Settlement for the Aged began when a Mount Isa pensioner, Mrs Laura Johnson, expressed concern about the lack of a home to care for senior citizens of the city.
Becoming a Client
To access Laura Johnson Home Residential Care Services a number of documents are required. Once you have gathered all required documentation please contact the Laura Johnson Home to organise an initial meeting to discuss residential care options.
Donations
The Society for the Mount Isa Memorial Garden Settlement for the Aged Inc. is endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office as a Public Benevolent Institution making all donations over $2.00 Tax Deductable.
